Assiniboia Gallery is proud to present a series of exhibitions in March highlighting women artists in their gallery in recognition of International Women’s Day. From March 4 until 11, the gallery presents Frances Werry: Other Women’s Flowers.  

Best known for her ethereal skylines and landscapes, Werry ventures into new subject matter with this striking collection of still-life paintings.

Opening February 4, By Day, By Night is a multi-artist exhibition featuring work inspired by the contrast between light and dark. Artists explore how mood, colour, and perspective shift from day to night, resulting in a mix of thoughtful, atmospheric, and visually engaging work.

Assiniboia Gallery’s first exhibition of 2026 is the highly anticipated secondary art market, Of Interest- Winter 2026 Edition, running from January 9 until 30.

The secondary art market features a curated collection of historical and contemporary art looking for new collectors. It’s an interesting mix of pieces old and nearly new.

Assiniboia Gallery presents “The Small Works Show” from December 3 - 23, 2025.

“Introducing Eileen Murray” opens today at Assiniboia Gallery, and runs until October 31. Murray’s paintings are bold and sophisticated as well as delightfully quirky. They are colourful, vibrant, and play with patterns, landscapes, and still lifes.

In this new show, each artist presents a pair of works, one vertical, one horizontal, where the scale is at least doubled in one direction. It’s a fun play on size, shape, and perspective that will have you looking this way… and that way.

Assiniboia Gallery is proud to present “The Poetry of Distance”, a new solo exhibition by Lindsey Love, from June 13 – July 2, 2025. This collection of acrylic and encaustic landscapes draws from Love’s prairie roots and captures the quiet, expansive beauty of the prairie and boreal forest.

Time to celebrate 25 years of ownership of Assiniboia Gallery, with a multi-artist exhibition entitled “25”.  Jeremy and Mary Weimer have owned and operated Assiniboia Gallery for 25 years. To honour this achievement, the multi-artist exhibition “25” will run from May 8 – June 10, 2025.

“River’s Edge” opens June 14 and runs until July 12, 2024 at Assiniboia Gallery.
