And as the cycle goes, when you support your local gallery, you are also supporting local artists. Ranging from emerging to established, about 85 per cent of the artists represented by our galleries are from Saskatchewan.
How can you support local galleries?
Visit your local gallery and view their current exhibitions and special events. Gallerists are always showing new works by local artists. There is never any pressure to buy as you browse all of the amazing artwork for sale – maybe you will even find your new favourite.
