Art Now Marks 10 Years as the Prairies’ Premier Fine Art Fair

Regina, Saskatchewan – SaskGalleries proudly presents the 10th edition of the Art Now Fine Art Fair—the only event of its kind on the Canadian prairies. Art Now runs from October 2 to 5 at the Bunge International Trade Centre (formerly Viterra International Trade Centre) in Regina, and online from October 3 to 13.

Art Now will be joined by the second edition of Craft Is...Fine Craft Market, a dynamic showcase of Saskatchewan craft, together offering a weekend celebration of creativity and culture all under one roof.

Art Now has become a cornerstone of the Saskatchewan arts calendar – A Fine Art Fair that is accessible and affordable to everyone, whether you are a seasoned collector, first-time buyer, or simply curious to experience the vibrancy of the province’s creative community. Admission from October 3 until 5 is by donation, ensuring that fine art remains opening and welcoming to all.

A Celebration for Everyone

Art Now launches with the Opening Night Reception on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30 p.m. The event features live entertainment by Pile of Bows, appetizers, door prizes, and first access to purchase works of original art from across Saskatchewan. Tickets are $50 ($30 for artists and students) and available at ArtNow.ca/tickets.

From October 3 to 5, Art Now opens to the public, presenting an extraordinary range of original artwork for sale from leading Saskatchewan galleries, alongside engaging programming featuring:

  • Artist talks and demonstrations offering insight into creative practices

  • stART, a platform highlighting emerging artists

  • Flight Centre, an interactive creative space

  • Curated tours and special programming connecting audiences directly with artists and gallerists

For this celebratory edition, Art Now will also feature Monique Martin’s immersive installation Breathturn, with an awe-inspiring 25,000 paper butterflies soaring above a prairie meadow floorcloth. A special elementary school tour, funded through butterfly sales, will provide a class of Kindergarten students an opportunity to experience fine art firsthand.

“Art Now has always been about accessibility, inclusivity, and celebrating the incredible talent we have here in Saskatchewan,” says Kristin Wagman, Executive Director of SaskGalleries. “Whether you’re discovering fine art for the first time, bringing your family for a weekend outing, or adding to a collection, Art Now is a space for everyone.”

Craft Is... Fine Craft Market Joins the Celebration

Craft Is... joins Art Now to spotlight the artistry of Saskatchewan’s fine craft community, presented by the Saskatchewan Craft Council. From ceramics to textiles, jewelry to glass, Craft Is brings together master artisans and fresh voices, expanding the fair’s reach and offering visitors a chance to experience fine craft alongside fine art.
